Winter lights

We went for a walk around the Winter Wonderland Christmas markets late on Sunday afternoon - mainly because I wanted to experiment with photographing the lights, not so much because A wanted to be dragged away from the couch and the warm living room!

Anyway, here are some of the best snaps I managed to get ...

The 'mini-London Eye' wheel, viewed from across the Serpentine

Fairground rides

Some of the Christmas market stalls

Lit trees leading the way to the outdoor ice rink

View from Scotch Corner, Knightsbridge down Old Brompton Road and to a sparkly, Christmassy Harrods

The Swarovski Snowflake that's suspended over the Scotch Corner intersection at Knightsbridge, with a garlanded Mandarin Oriental hotel

The Natural History Museum, South Kensington

I so love Christmas in London!

Well, if you're dressed appropriately it's not so bad. I've got a knee length down-filled jacket that's a little like wearing a sleeping bag - negates the weather a little bit!

You're so welcome on the Xmas present front. I just want to know who he thinks his Cris Cringle's from! :o)

Will keep an eagle eye out for your Xmas pics
