A little bit of culture to add to the mix

We went to the Royal Albert Hall for the first time last night - to listen to the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra & various choirs perform Carmina Burana, and it was amazing. I've always loved this piece of music, and it was fabulous to hear it performed live.

It was fab to finally see the interior of the RAH for ourselves as well - it's a wonderful 'in the round' venue. We had arena seats - meaning on the flat, central, circular floor, right infront of the orchestra and choir - and the accoustics were perfect. Actually, the accoustics were almost too good, as not only could we hear all the music perfectly, but we could also hear all the coughs, sneezes and snuffles emanating from the audience ...
